IBS PCP COMPACT

Like IBS PCP 2.0, the IBS PCP COMPACT is a software to be implemented on an INTERBUS slave. This protocol software allows for intelligent communication in the application layer, such as is applied, for example, for device management. This is realized by accessing software objects of the field device using functions. Using this mechanism, an INTERBUS device can exchange non-time-critical optional data (parameterization, diognostics, program downloading, etc.) with the master. IBS PCP COMPACT is compatible with all existing INTERBUS master implementations. Die IBS PCP COMPACT slave software realizes the mostly used functionalities of IBS PCP 2.0 while it requires considerably less resources at a lower price. It consists of a source code written exclusively in ANSI-C and that caneasily be tranfered to different target processors and INTERBUS protocol chips. A transfer can be realized inside a week. A CD with source code and electronic documentation is included in the delivery. The software is authorized once the license agreement is returned.
